Itinerary

Nights - Departs March 25,2025- April 05,2025

Day 1 · Sydney Australia

In Sydney, Australia’s modern capital, marvel at the city’s world-renowned skyline and iconic architecture, such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. Visit its famous golden beaches, like Bondi and Coogee. Take a stroll in one of its pristine natural parks, where you’ll encounter rugged cliffs and stunning scenery. Taste your way through Sydney’s eclectic culinary scene, full of global flavors and ingredients. You won’t be able to resist falling in love with this versatile destination.

Day 2 · At Sea
Day 3 · Brisbane, Australia

Brisbane is the capital of the Australian state of Queensland. Though it doesn’t have the same amount of acclaim as Sydney to the north, those on a cruise to Australia will be thrilled with a day spent in Brisbane. You’ll quickly get a sense of what it’s like to live along Australia’s east coast as you’re immersed in the city culture of Queensland. Even more exciting for most visitors is Brisbane’s close proximity to the Gold Coast, a stretch of coastline beloved by locals for its surf breaks and soft, welcoming sand.

Day 4 · At Sea
Day 5 · Airlie Beach, Queensland

On a cruise to Airlie Beach, you’ll be quickly captivated by what many say are Australia’s best beaches. Beach towels and flip flops are must-haves in this warm, subtropical paradise. Marina views provide a beautiful backdrop for your day in Airlie Beach. Enjoy fruity cocktails or dinner featuring the bluest waters and plenty of friendly vacationers. On cruises, Australia in particular is a gem, and Airlie Beach is famous for its closeness to the ultimate destination for nature lovers, adventurers, surfers, sailors, and snorkelers: the Great Barrier Reef.

Whitehaven Beach is a popular spot for paddling and is famous for having over four miles of impossibly soft white sand. There’s also the Airlie Beach Lagoon, where you can go swimming year round. Or, go island hopping along the lush Whitsunday Islands. There are 74 islands ripe for exploration on a day trip while on your cruise to Airlie Beach. Whether you decide to go sailing or dip in the lagoon during your time here, there’s no wrong way to relax in Airlie Beach.

Day 6 · Cairns, Yorkey's Knob, Australia

Cairns is often considered to be the gateway city to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef. The city serves as the starting point for many visitors on a cruise to Australia to make the short jaunt to the world-famous reef. Cairns is located in Far North Queensland and is known for its tropical climate and awe-inspiring natural sights.

Day 8 · Port Douglas, Australia

Cruise to Port Douglas and you’ll find a miraculous blend of coral reefs and subtropical rainforest, which means it’s an easy destination to find fun things to do in nature. For the beachy and the active, sunbathing on Four Mile Beach or diving the Great Barrier Reef awaits. For the athletic traveler, head into the heart of Daintree Rainforest to hike, zipline, or simply enjoy the beauty of the jungle. Stop in at the Wildlife Habitat for the chance to see koalas, kangaroos, and other native Australian species.

Day 9 · Willis Island, Australia

Willis Island spans over 1,500 feet long, which is only slightly longer than the ship itself.  Wave to the meteorologists manning the island’s weather monitoring station—the island’s only sign of civilization—and keep your eyes peeled for local wildlife like Boobies, sooty terns, and nesting turtles.
